Save your nature magazines, or anything that has photos of water in it to make this fun collage page.1. Students cut out enough swatches of water from magazines to fill the bottom of their journal page. The pieces were glued down with a glue stick.
2. A sailboat was drawn on top of the water, with just a simple boat, mast and sail. The lines were traced with a black permanent marker.
3. The boat was colored heavily with crayon.
