I am totally feeling the hippie/skater vibe of Peter Som's newly presented collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. From the light watercolor prints to the less structured peplum, the entire collection felt cool. Not the kind of cool you try to be, but the kind you just are...
The first look of the collection was my favorite, setting a tone for what was to come. Peter created a grownup version of the board short that is at both times young/fresh and grownup/sophisticated. How he managed to do that, I have no idea.
The rest of the looks followed down the runway with the same effect. Cool, but grownup. Something every woman could wear and not look like they were trying to hard. Easy glamour definitely achieved...
