Monique Lhuillier made me want to head to Hawaii with her blue-centric Spring/Summer 2013 collection, shown tonight at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. As she showcased every color in the ocean, from turquoise to navy, Monique weaved in the most gorgeous accent colors to tell a true color story. I am especially in the love with the raspberry pink she chose...
There were also some beautiful digital prints shown throughout the new collection. I just adore these types of prints as they always add a bit of interest to what would normally be a classic design. The blue green chiffon gown with the sweetheart neckline is giving literally giving me chills as the print looks to be a cross between scales and feathers.
And finally, never to one to forget her roots, Ms. Lhuillier brought us some major sparkle in the form of flowy evening dresses and beautiful classic shift dresses.
