There is a reason that Christian Siriano is the most successful Project Runway winner to date: the man is a genius!  Now well established in his career, Christian showed an absolutely lovely Spring/Summer 2013 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

He said that he was inspired by the American Ballet performance of The Dream and you can tell he took this inspiration most literally.  The dresses were literally frothy, looking like they were made for a prima ballerina and even his casual wear was so chicly relaxed like only an off-duty dancer could wear.

The ballet theme was especially strong in Christian's use of color, showing a sweet palette of white, blue, and pink pastels.  His light touch in color reminds me of a dancer twirling across the stage.  What a lovely sense of restraint...

I highly encourage you to look at Style.com to see the rest of Christian Siriano's collection.  I'll be back later with more Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
