NUXE is a brand I’m sure many people who are into their beauty products have heard of since their famous Reve De Miel lip balm appeared all over blogs and YouTube and took the community by storm, however I haven’t heard much about any other of their skincare products. I recently got the chance to try out the Anti-Fatigue Moisturising Eye Cream* (A.K.A Contour des Yeux Prodigiex if you’re into French) courtesy of Farmaline, a new online website for all your french pharmacy needs, and I’m actually very impressed!

As someone who suffers from dry skin my eyes can get pretty bad if I’m wearing eye makeup and using makeup remover a lot, so a nourishing eye cream is a must for me. I don’t have different ones for morning and night so this is all I have been using for the past few weeks and already I can definitely see a difference in the dry patches that were underneath my eyes. It contains hyaluronic acid, blue agerate and cocoa extract, with added botanical caffeine to help reduce puffiness and dark circles. I’m not sure how far it helps with dark circles, but it definitely does a good job of making my eyes look brighter and more awake when I use this on a morning. The texture feels more like a gel to me than your typical moisturiser, but whilst giving a good dose of moisture still manages to feel light on the skin. Also when I use this under my eyes it doesn’t make concealer sit funny which is a bonus! Overall, this is a good one, and with a 93.9% and paraben free formula it definitely pleases the ‘chemical aware’ side of me which is growing quite a bit inside of me at the minute.

How do you feel about eye cream, always in your routine, or a waste of time? I’d love to hear what your thoughts are as I know eye creams are a bit hit and miss with people! :)
