The box was small and came very quickly. I really love that they include recipes for all the spices. I can’t wait to try them out! This month was The Pondicherry Kit. I love that they give a fun story and background on Pondicherry.
REVIEW OF ITEMS:
Indo-French Vadouvan
This spice is great for lamb curry, Indian eggs, or squash soup. I can’t wait to try it.
Peppercorn Chai
This spice is great for Chai tea and for baking. I can’t wait to use it!
Unpumpkin Pie Spice
This spice is great for cornbread. I have never thought about adding spice to cornbread. Now I am going to have to try it.
OVERALL IMPRESSION:
I loved this RawSpiceBar box! It is so fun receiving spices from around the world. I now totally feel inspired to try cooking with them. I love that they include recipe cards for each spice. You can also check out their recipe section online for even more ideas. I am totally going to try cooking some of these dishes. I can’t wait to taste them!
