Novak Djokovic has defeated defending champion Andy Murray to lift Shanghai Masters trophy. Second seed Djokovic triumphed 5-7, 7-6 (13-11), 6-3 against Murray. Final was played at the Qi Zhong Tennis Center. Novak Djokovic was defeated by Andy Murray in U.S open last month.
Andy Murray started off and dominated the 1st set that included seven breaks of serve. Djokovic looked down and out as smashed his racket in frustration after going down 5-6. Third straight win at Shanghai Masters was within sight for Andy Murray. He has already won two finals consecutively.
However tide turned on Murray as he served for the match at 5-4, but Djokovic quick enough to save the match point. After that he took control of the game and secured four more match points to finally seal the victory with a volley.
