Last year, when shopping in the sales I was extremely sensible. I bought simple items that would go with anything. Practical things like a black coat, smart black trousers, brown boots and a cream jumper. This year my sale shopping has gone in the other direction. Colour, pattern and weird accessories have been catching my eye. I think I've realised I'm heading towards being a grown up and I want to fight it off for as long as I can. Or at least use fun fashion to make the sensible grown up tasks more enjoyable.Leopard print coat from Warehouse. I've been after a leopard print coat for a while now but a lot of them looked a bit fluffy for my liking. This one is soft without giving the impression I've skinned a stuffed toy.
Panther shoes from Urban Outfitters. I didn't need another pair of shoes but I couldn't resist the color and heel detail of these lovelies. Unfortunately due to snow and rain I've been too scared to wear them outside yet, but their time will come.Skull necklace from Topshop. A bit goth, a bit creepy but I love it. I've enjoyed mixing it up by teaming it with flowery tops.Face ring also from Topshop. This double finger ring is so bizarre. It's also feels quite weird to wear. But it gives my hand a face and that is something pretty special.
Initial watch from Urban Outfitters. I haven't owned a watch for years. I haven't felt like I needed to own a watch. But I bought one any way. At least I won't forget the first letter of my name.
