Nortek Resource Solutions, established in 1999 provides aerial photography services specific to GIS data related projects. Nortek’s founder, Kirk Schmidt, realized the need for aerial photography through his University education in Forest and Natural Resource Management. As a Registered Professional Forester in both Ontario and Nova Scotia, he has applied his skills including research coordination, project management, spatial analysis, remote sensing, results presentation, aerial photography and a thorough understanding of GIS using a range of software.
