No Rest for Bridget: Newbury Street's Newest Store Means No Excuses Not to Look Fab
The Bostonista and I were invited to play dress up with No Rest for Bridget, one of Newbury Street's newest transplants by way of California. The boutique - the franchises' fifth location, and only spot outside of CA - will absolutely be a permanent stop on my itinerary! The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful - more like shopping with a BFF (who happens to be gorgeous and well-dressed) than a pushy sales clerk, and the store was bustling with activity and shoppers, which made the whole experience comfortable and relaxed. (Admittedly, sometimes shopping on Newbury Street can involve crickets, tumbleweed, and the sensation of being watched like a hawk by a cashier that never seems to be there when you need them.) Not to mention the pricepoint - during my shopping spree, I saw no shortage of gorgeous, wearable, transitional pieces, and nothing over $100!

Located on the ground floor of one of Newbury's trademark 120 brownstones, NRFB is chock full of slouchy sweaters, fringed shawls, perfect-fitting jeans, party dresses, vegan leather jackets and vests, and a selection of hats and accessories that brought a tear to my eyes. Aside from the clothing - nearly all of which rings in between $30-$70, they've stocked up on Voluspa candles, nailpolishes in delicious jewel tones from Buttery, and super giftable books with cheeky titles like Tequila Mockingbird.

The buyers have curated an amazing selection that blends East Coast sensibility with Golden Coast casual cool-girl, so NRFB will become a fast favorite for every Boston girl with the heart - and style - of a Cali surfer.
