If you’re a soap opera fan, the music in this song should sound very familiar. It’s the theme music from The Young and the Restless. I only knew this because I saw some of the cast on a few episodes of Family Feud. Two television shows would battle it out to win money for charity. The first time I heard this song was in college around 2009. A friend and I had gone to a charity concert at a college nearby. One of the performances included a dance team in a number with this song. It’s one of those tracks you can definitely relate to & I give Mary her props for making such a powerful hit.
No More Drama was released as a single in October of 2001 from her fifth studio album of the same name. It went to #15 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and to #9 in the UK.
I don’t think there is anyone who can’t relate to her lyrics. Drama is all around us and we’re tired of it.
