Here’s No Age’s latest single, that in true punk spirit is very anti-single—especially of the kind you’d expect from No Age. The Sub Pop-signed LA experimental noise-punks have been extremely effective avoiding classification so maybe it’s unfair to imply that one could have any reliable expectations from them. Still, “An Impression”, from their upcoming full length An Object out August 20th, sounds very No Age, whatever that means. It is an introspective composition made up of a minimal beat with lo-fi guitars that hardly sound like guitars and even some strings near the end.
