Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm in Cherry Review and Lip Swatches

Hi girls,Since humidity is at its peak in India applying  make up would be the last thing on our minds. Just some BB cream, compact, Lip balm and kajal and we are good to go. I was a lip balm hoarder around 2 years ago I must admit. Everytime I would visit a mall I had to pick up one :p but thank God I am not into that phase anymore. Today I shall be talking about the Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm in Cherry. I have been using Nivea lip balms for years and I love them a lot. Let us find out more about this lip balm in my review...

The Nivea Lip Balm comes in a white and cherry colored body. The information is printed on the carton which you normally throw out. The expiry date and other details are mentioned at the bottom of the lip balm. The cap click locks so it can be easily carried with you while traveling. Cute packaging as always by Nivea.

The lip balm is a pinkish red cherry color. It does contain shimmer which gives a good shine to the lips and makes them look fuller and plump. The lip balm smells like cherry ahem I don't think so a little medicine like. Personally I am not a fan of the taste but its tolerable. On the moisturization part it does a great job and makes your lips soft and supple. I love tinted lip balms a lot and I would also want the color to show on the lips but this one did not fit the bill color wise as you need read to swipe a lot on the lips. Also if you have pigmented lips like me the color may be a little difficult to show up. The lip balm has a tendency to melt in the summers. Hence it is best to store in the fridge. This lip balm has definitely made my lips soft and is a great option for summers.
The Good:Easily available.Beautiful subtle cherry color.Moisturizing.Travel friendly.Inexpensive.
Nice packaging.

The not so Good:Wish there was no shimmer at all.Color needs to be built up.Tendency to melt in summers.The taste may be a problem for some.

Rating: 4/5Nivea lip balm in Cherry is a nice tinted lip balm with a nice scent and will show up subtly on the lips. The lip balm will be handy on those days when you do not feel like applying lipstick. I recommend everyone to give it a shot if you are ok with the taste.I hope you found this review helpful.
