For the eighth consecutive year, New York-New York Hotel & Casino will celebrate the luck of the Irish at its famous Celtic Feis festival, March 17 and 18. The two-day extravaganza will feature a celebratory parade, live entertainment and authentic Irish bites at Nine Fine Irishmen.
“Celtic Feis has become a tradition among Las Vegas locals and visitors alike with fantastic Irish bands, festive libations and authentic food,” said Brent Cook, executive director of food and beverage at New York-New York. “This year, we’re expanding the outdoor area on the Brooklyn Bridge, so now even more people can join our St. Patrick’s Day celebration.”
New York-New York Hotel & Casino’s Shamrockin’ Celebration, Celtic Feis, returns March 17 & 18
Festivities kick off on Friday, March 17 with live entertainment beginning at 11 a.m. on the Brooklyn Bridge. The Las Vegas Pipe Band will lead a celebratory parade at 10 a.m., starting on the Mezzanine and continuing through New York-New York. Following the procession will be a traditional Guinness toast led by the Drum Major of the Las Vegas Pipe Band, Ken Misch, and President and COO of New York-New York, Cynthia Kiser Murphey. The parade is complimentary and open to guests of all ages. Starting at noon on March 17, guests must be at least 21 years of age and admission starts at $10.
Throughout the St. Patrick’s Day bash, Nine Fine Irishmen will serve traditional Irish fare from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. including signature dishes such as beer n’ cheese dip, shepherd’s pie, Irish bangers and corned beef and cabbage.
