This is a great American cheesecake with chocolate coffee glaze on it. Very inspiring piece, tasting great. If you have a leftover of this evergreen cake you can cover it and store it in a cool place for 2 weeks. I don’t know who could keep it that long. In our house cakes last 2 days maximum, after that I can make a new one…maybe the same one


1 stick (4 ounces) butter, softened
7 ounces bittersweet chocolate
3 tablespoons corn syrup
2 tablespoons instant espresso or coffee powder
2 tablespoons hot water
pinch of salt
