Let me introduce you to the first feature of my new series on the blog which I would like to call "DOPPELGANGER TUESDAY". On Tuesdays you will find a picture of me here, replicating either an inspired outfit or a beauty look or a DIY or sort. Of course there will be slight variations to make the replication work for me. It may be plagiarism to some, but you plagiarize only if you don't acknowledge and appreciate the creator and take the sole credit. Pertaining to this disclosure on the blog, I will make all efforts to be accurate of the source....promise !
Talking about today's look, I had bought this skirt a while ago. Initially I was apprehensive of it's color and printand the $90 price tag was all I needed to affirm my decision of taking a pass on this one. But when I tried it in the store, I was sold. Luckily the store was running a promotion for 40% a regular priced item, so I dug out all the reasons to bring this home with me. As if this wasn't enough, I spotted Bethenny Frankel wearing this (
real sophistication ). I jumped out of sheer joy....and why not, great fashion minds think alike ....wink wink ? I couldn't contain my excitement and had to replicate her look to share it with you all. It was this excitement that gave form to this blog series. It's not that I don't want to be original. Just that sometimes planning an outfit requires a lot of brainstorming and despite can sometimes end in no outcome. In this case seeking inspiration from other creative people doesn't hurt.....right !
