I recently got invited to my local Body Shop where I got a chance to have a little look at their new Wild Argan Oil product range and try out some of their makeup, including the new Smoky 2 in 1 Gel Liner. I had such a lovely time and all the staff were so friendly, they even had belly dancers there to go with the Moroccan theme! The new range consists of a shower gel, body butter, miracle solid oil, solid oil lip balm, radiant oil, body lotion, bubble bath and body scrub… Basically everything you need to pamper yourself, and everything smells absolutely delicious. I didn’t get a chance to try everything out obviously, I think me lathering myself up in the middle of The Body Shop may be slightly frowned upon, but I got to bring some of the body butter and body scrub home and they are both really, really nice. I’d say the body butter and radiant oil (which I did have a little try of in the shop) are my top picks, both leaving your skin beautifully soft and radiant after you’ve used the. Definitely ones to look out for those if you’re passing your local store!
Another new release recently to go along with the Moroccan theme is the new Smoky 2 in 1 Gel Liner, which I also got to bring home and have a little play with. It comes in either black or brown and after using it for a few days I will say, so far so good! I haven’t been able to test it out properly yet but I will have a full review up of this over the next week, along with a couple of other products I was lucky enough to try out. Although I’m a massive fan of The Body Shop bath and body products I’ve never actually tried any of the makeup, so I’m really excited to get stuck in and see what I think. I may even have a contender for my birthday party lipstick!
I know this post was a little short but sweet but I don’t want to talk too much about the makeup products before I’ve reviewed them properly, but there will be a few more Body Shop posts up over the next couple of weeks so keep your eyes peeled.
What are your top picks from The Body Shop? Let me know in the comments as I always love hearing about other people’s favourites!
