New Revlon Lip Butters
I'm quite a fan of Revlon I love there primers, foundations and lipsticks and when they came out with lip butters I was quite intrigued to find out what these where like. Coming out in other countries before the UK I had seen reviews on what they where like before they launched here, so I had a good idea on which to get and which not to. I decided on these two, Sweet Tart and Strawberry Shortcake. The more wearable colours stood out to me more so I could wear them on a daily basis.

First Impressions With the near to color of the product being the packaging makes it handy to find if in a rush and also being able to see through the lid (at the top). With the packaging the only downside I can find is how to open them. If you have product on your hands/just washed them etc it may be pretty tricky to open.
When applying the product onto the lips it applies smoothly pretty much like a lip balm or I find a cremesheen finish lipstick. While on the the lip it has a glossy finish but is not sticky and feels while it is on the lip keeps them moisturised.
The difference between the two is that 080 Strawberry Shortcake is a lightish pink shade with a little bit of a peach tinge if compared to MAC Viva Glam GaGa and 090 Sweet Tart is a barbie darkish pink, reminds me a little when in the tube of the viva glam Nikki maybe a little. this is not to say they will look like it on the lip at they are lip butters not lipsticks they will be much sheerer.
If you have dry chapped lips and find some lipsticks to be too drying then I would definitely check one of these out as I find they work well with me. Just give the lips an exfoliate or rub with your toothbrush then apply.

After using them for some time I found them to be really good!, i have worn these quiet a few times now. I find i have to reapply them after about 2-3 maybe 4 hours depending on what i am doing in the time im wearing it such as eating or drinking. When wearing these i find my lips feel very moisturised as i always suffer with very chapped/dry lips. When worn and started to fade on my lips i find it fades from the middle inside to the outside lip liner.
Overall i like the product i would recommend them!
At the moment there is a 3 for 2 going on in most boots. These where bought along with a foundation which classes on of these as a free one. The lip butters cost £7.99 each.
Much love
