Unlike a Fitbit or Jawbone that are predominantly used as a step counter, the Moov Now can also track your workouts, swimming, running, cycling, etc. in much greater detail.
Moov Now is so incredibly accurate that it can tell you your speed, elevation, cadence, velocity, power, timing, and tons of other neat information. It really is perfect for the person who obsesses over every little detail. And to top it all off, Moov Now also serves as your personal trainer. It "speaks" to you and coaches you as you are working out. For instance, it can count your reps for you as you are working out. This feature puts it above any other fitness tracker available. But keep in mind that you will have to have your phone on you while you are working out to take advantage of the personal trainer.
How it works:The Moov Now uses A.I. motion sensors (3D), an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer to provide you with very accurate information. It sends the information to your smartphone via Bluetooth. You can view this information through the app available on iPhone and Android. The workout trainer can "speak" to you through your headphones or your smartphone speaker.

- The sensor is a little bigger than a quarter (28mm in diameter)
- The sensor is available in black, white, red, and blue
- The sensor needs to be inserted into a rubberized band
- The band is only available in black (hopefully more colors are available in the future)
- The band can be worn on your wrist or ankle depending on the activity you are tracking
- It is waterproof up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) so you can track your swimming
- It uses a coin battery (commonly used in wristwatches) that lasts 6 months

I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on the Moov Now and review it for you. I am very excited about the Moov Now and I hope that it lives up to all it's claims. Either way you can count on me to tell it like it is. The Moov Now would seriously make amazing Christmas gifts for your family or significant other. Men are the hardest (in my opinion) to buy presents for and this is such a perfect gift for the man in your life. New Year's Day is right around the corner and everyone has New Year's resolutions to get fit. This would be the perfect gift! You would be buying your loved ones a lifetime personal trainer. I personally bought one for my boyfriend because he loves technology and would totally love this. He is going to flip when he gets it.
