I’ve recently added a new photo – Purple Spider Mum – to my Beautifulflowerpictures.com website.

Spider Mums are one of my favorite types of chrysanthemums. They are known for their long tubular petals with hooked ends. Spider mums, like most other chrysanthemums, tend to bloom in the fall and they can be found in a variety of colors and shapes.

I photographed this purple and white spider mom in the fall of 2012. When I saw it, the combination of the colors really caught my eye – the dark purple at the ends of petals, the lighter purples on the petals closer to the center and the several shades of pale yellow and white in the center. It is one of most striking chrysanthemums I’ve seen. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

This photograph is available as a 10 X 10″ or 20 X 20″ gallery-wrapped canvas. You can order Purple Spider Mum from my website.
