A 7 inch, single core Intel powered phone/tablet, Or in other words a nexus 7 with full phone capabilities. Click the link for the full spec but the price is what you should be concerned with the most. £169.99 as far as I can tell and out at the end of this month, some compromises would have to be made with regard to the fact it is 7 inches but this would easily replace my TF101 as well as the G300, I would just have to make some room in my bag while commuting.

This dual core MTK 6577 powered 1.2GHz is more what I have been looking for. It may only have a 5MP camera but I have very little need for the camera on my phone and I know that the standard software on my G300 was shocking but the upgrade to CM10 made the camera significantly better so there is hope for it yet. But the reason why this is looking like the strongest contender yet is the hero factor I have mentioned a few times in previous posts. This phone will be no more than £130.00 and is reported to support NFC however I have only seen that printed in one place. Even a Nexus 4 looks expensive next to this........
Come the 24th when the Asus is released I will go and have a look at both devices in the flesh but until then if you spot something with a better spec than the G510 for the same price let me know. Doubt you will find anything mind.
