New collection 2014 D&G sunglasses menCharacter, tradition and History are some of challenges from the Italian fashion company this next season. Dolce & Gabbana presents its men’s eyewear Spring Summer 2014 collection, whose main line is based on the utilization of black and grey volcanic stone: basalt. A trend focused on insular Italian region. Specifically, the island of Sicily has been the chosen place by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana as inspiration in their new model glasses, both sunglasses and eyeglasses.

A detailed and thorough job, carried out by the best professionals, in which the lava stone is turned into a resistant material. Offering the customer the own Dolce & Gabbana quality.

From the black rocks of Mount Etna to the carefree eyewear styles of the ‘60s, the Italian firm bets on the mixture of both, incorporating an undisputed elegance for men. The squared or aviator frames and the green and grey colored glass, bring to man figure a singular character with a warm and bohemian atmosphere.

The new basalt model is crafted out of camouflage acetate and embellished with antiqued silver and brass. A method that shapes distinctive glasses, perfectly for men features. Likewise, the Spring Summer 2014 collection is comprised of three sun models and three ophthalmic ones.

One more time, the fashion firm reflects on its products an evident passion for design and style. However, what truly stands out Dolce & Gabbana is its bet on quality. So, as both designers declared, “they wouldn’t mind that their only contribution in fashion History were  a simple black bra, as long as it is the best and most attractive one” (Dolce & Gabbana, 2007).
