Today is my first day of a new job. It’s temporary, but full-time, and will be completely different from waiting tables.
I used to be afraid of change. Now, while I can’t say that I wholeheartedly embrace it, I’m learning to adapt and evolve as new experiences come up. And I’m excited! Who knows where this job will take me, or if I’ll meet someone today who will be my friend for years to come.
As Tony, the founder of P90X says, “Do your best, and forget the rest.” And that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
So wherever today takes you, I encourage you to accept change. Learn from every minute.
