Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s bids to form government in Khyberpakhtunkhwa are likely to be pegged back by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Jamiat Ulema-I-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F).
JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Sunday telephoned PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, whose whose party wrapped up massive win in center and Punjab in the May 11 elections, congratulated him over their victory.
The two leaders also chalked out a joint strategy to form government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where PTI has emerged as the strongest political force by securing 34 seats.
JUI-F has secured 15 while PML-N has claimed 12 seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Both Nawaz, and Fazal have also contact Jamat-i-Islami, which has seven seats in KPK assembly, for a probable alliance to form government in the province.
