This lipstick was the result of me rediscovering the Natural Collection on my last trip to Boots so hooray for that. I eventually decided to pick up another tube of their brilliant LashBuild mascara and as it was 3 for 2 at the time I just had to have a look around. I remembered hearing so much about a few of the Natural Collection lipstick shades from the blogging world and after plenty of swatching in Boots I decided to go for the shade Rose Petal. It is such a pretty neutral pink with a hint of peach and I'll admit that it was the peach that had me sold as I'm going through a massive peach phase right now. Unfortunately the color doesn't translate very well on my lips and almost give them a bit of a dead look so for that reason the shade just isn't right for my skin tone and lip color (boohoo). I found the formula to be a bit drying on the lips which isn't too good for people who suffer from dry and cracked lips already, although a little bit of gloss or lip balm over the top helps that. All in all I'm a bit disappointed with this lipstick shade because it just doesn't suit my colouring at all, although considering I got it for free in a 3 for 2 offer I really can't be complaining! You can find the Natural Collection in Boots, and their lipsticks (and most other products) cost just £1.99 so it's quite a bargain. I can't say that I'm impressed with their lipstick (solely based on this shade) but would definitely recommend their mascara and blushers for anyone who's on a budget.
