This is a very day wear makeup and one of the easy makeups to do and fast look to achieve. I love the softness of the smokey eye and how amazingly the liner enhance the shape of the eyes. 'Almond' being the classic shape anyone wants to acquire, this is a perfect look to do so.
I have used the quintessential eyeshadow palette from Too Faced Cosmetics from their Pixie collection. Its just so classic and beautiful....Lets see how to achieve this simple yet ethereal look.
Conceal the under eyes to lift the face and make the eyes look brighter and beautiful with a liquid concealer like Clinique All About Eyes concealer. Apply some powder in to set the concealer. I used my new and favorite YSL Matte and Radiant compact powder to set the makeup for an illuminated face.
Prime the lids with a sticky primer like Urban Decay Primer Potion. Tame the brows and fill in with Too Faced eyeshadow in Exclusive Shade.
Highlight the brow bone and inner corners with Too Faced eyeshadow in Peach fuzz.
On the entire lid, apply Too Faced eyeshadow in Velvet Revolver.
On the outer corners of upper and lower lids, apply this rich chocolate brown shade from Too Faced cosmetics called Exclusive Shade.
Apply Exclusive shade in the sockets to contour the eyes and add the required depth.
With Real Techniques fine liner brush apply Maybelline Hyperglossy Liquid eye liner from the start to end and extend into a flick.
Apply another layer to create a darker and glossier looking line. The Velvet Revolver is a lovely greige color and the glossy liner looks stunning against the matte background.
Curl lashes with MAC eye lash curler and apply 2-3 coats of Lancome Hypnose Dolls Eyes Mascara.
To complete the look, apply a matte cream blush like Chanel's Presage and slick on a lovely coral lipstick like Guerlain Rouge G in Gipsy or Maybelline 14 Hr Lipstick in Stay with me Coral.
