After hearing rave reviews and great things about NARS blushers I knew I just had to give them a go, and when the opportunity came about where I could have this barely touched beauty for just £6 I just had to have it. Of course NARS is known for being a high end make-up brand and their blushers don't come cheap at £21 a pop, but after trying this one out I can definitely see why NARS blushers are loved so much.
NARS Luster £21
I have always loved the look of NARS packaging as it is so simple but eye-catching at the same time, and although the more rubber-like material is bad for holding on to dust, I still love its compactness and overall look. Luster is described as a 'sheer gold apricot' and I think this is the perfect way to put it as it is an apricot with beautiful gold shimmer running through it. Now this wouldn't have been a color I'd pay £21 for (although I probably couldn't justify paying that much for any color unfortunately) but after looking at swatches online the color just seemed to come alive, so of course I had to give it a go. I think this color is a perfect summer color for paler skin like mine as it brightens the face right up and also acts as a highlighter with the gold shimmer. The powder is very pigmented but can still be used with a lighter hand to create a more subtle look on the cheeks and I can tell that this blush will last a very long time as a little goes a very long way. Have you tried Luster or any other NARS blushers?
