Cravings
(This Will be my Last “Rhyming” Poem for awhile, I am drained and it shows in this piece)
The cravings have weakened me today
Vividly hurting, stress takes control as I try to hold on
Progression is dreadful, misery seems to be fond
of holding me close and squeezing explicitly
tearing away at me, it’s so viciously crippling
Veins become bruised & it haunt’s me as the cravings spread
Fighting so hardly, knowing using is the same as being dead
winning is losing if I fail to contend
I would easily sell my soul for these tempting thoughts to end
They say in time thing’s better so I would love to know when?
If only It would stop every now and then
for once I might learn to be comfortable in my own skin
