*Mini Vacation*
I am excited about this weekend because I will finally be doing something I have wanted to do for a very long time! I will be going camping in the Daniel Boone National Forest, Cumberland falls park area! I will still be going to work this week end unfortunately, but I will be only working part of each day.
(Thank God both DB and CF are located right next to Corbin)
I am so excited to finally be doing this with the Family, I have wanted to go camping for so long so I could find a nice spot deep in the forest and write some poetry. I will also be taking the books I am currently reading with me so it will definitely be fun!
I will be starting my mini vacation tomorrow and I can’t wait! I hope all of you have a great week end as well! I will still be doing my NaPoWriMo 1 Poem a day…I’ll just have to post them sometime Sunday evening. In the morning I will be posting my Poem for the day before heading out for work but after that I shall escape into the forest and seek out some Peace & Tranquility with my Poetry and my Books! =]
Lost In The Forest
Tranquility and peace I hope to find
Escape from reality and the chaos inside my mind
Vacation time is finally here
Feelings of excitement and inspiration
Just in time as summer sets in for the year
To get lost with nature is what I need
To forget my problems and find some relief
While spending time with the ones I love
Composing Poetry, alone with my Books
Fairy Tale land Here I come
Let me be free to enjoy the scenery
It’s almost hard to believe this isn’t purely Fantasy
The Non-Fiction part of my life has frustrated me so
Now I set off on a quest and a journey
To hopefully make some everlasting memories
The kind we normally only find in the Books we read
