NaPoWriMo Day 11
Just a poem I composed in my head, after watching updates on the situation in Korea and how everyone is wondering who really has control of the Military over there.
Poem entitled:
Mistakes We Just Can’t Afford To Make
Morals and standards it seems we have lost and misplaced
Disastrous outcomes averted in past and present days
Tyrants try hard to pressure or persuade
Affecting the outcome of vital decisions unmade
Such beauty and purity might not be here for long I’m afraid
Life’s precious moment’s is a gift I feel we all sometimes betray
Some decisions and choices we just can’t afford to delay
How can we leave the fate of the world in the hands of the depraved
(North Korea)
