Senior journalist and former interim caretaker chief minister Punjab Najam Sethi has been appointed as the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) by prime minister Nawaz Shairf.
PCB was without of a chairman since the suspension of Zaka Ashraf, handed to him by Islamabad High Court (IHC) almost three weeks ago.
The court had given the task to appoint the interim chairman to the inter-provincial Co-ordination Committee.
Credible sources have told Paknews that Hamza Shahbaz, the son of chief minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif, could become the permanent chairman PCB.
