This week's Twinsie Tuesday prompt is to share our favorite discontinued polish. Honestly, I couldn't think of a favorite discontinued polish, but I do have quite a few polishes (especially indies) in my untrieds that were discontinued after I purchased them. So, I decided to pick The Shimmer Effect by Nail Venturous Lacquer. Do you guys remember that brand?
Nail Venturous no longer makes polishes. This brand was famous for Floam. Nail polish lovers went crazy for it.
Anyhoo, I received this polish in a swap from Crystal. It's a deep purple base with a mixture of gold and green glitters. It reaches full opacity and has a really good formula. Here I used two coats with no top coat.

I love the uniqueness of this polish. I have nothing like it in my stash. It makes me sad when really good indie brands go away. Don't you agree? Have you ever tried this brand?
