NA Fiction Plus a Great Website.

New Adult fiction

New Adult literature is the hot new trend. Most agree that the New Adult age range is 17-27, others say 18-26, or so. Other terms for NA include: Upper YA, Crossover Fiction, and Mature YA. NA characters are often portrayed experiencing: college, living away from home for the first time, military deployment, apprenticeships, a first steady job, a first serious relationship, etc. When I was a New Adult, back in the late 70s to the early 80s, the big thing for me was learning how to manage money. After college, I felt disconnected and had to remap my home life and my social life.
I went looking for some great NA sites and this is what I came up with:
Since the age ranges for Young Adult and New Adult overlap, a group of authors decided to do something about it. Featuring NA Alley: http://www.naalley.com/  What do they have to offer readers and indie NA authors? A Catalog of NA reads: http://www.naalley.com/p/recommended-na-reads.html and you can email them to suggest a title. Their Resources offer a wealth of NA and YA blogs, including numerous book blogs: http://www.naalley.com/p/resources.html Indie authors, take note: NA Alley offers a list of publishers and agents known to accept NA manuscripts, however this is a fluid market. Link: http://www.naalley.com/p/publishing.html  No NA website is complete without a contest/giveaway section: http://www.naalley.com/p/contestsgiveaways.html Check out the NAA books here: http://www.naalley.com/p/na-sisters-books.html
What is a NA Crush Tourney? Find out here: http://www.naalley.com/p/na-crush-tournament.html  Looking for a press sheet? Find it here: http://www.naalley.com/p/media.html
And for even more New Adult titles, don't forget Write More Publications at: www.writemorepublications.com
