1.A good Oil cleansing gel face wash: My favorite face wash during summer is Lotus herbal neem face wash.This face wash comes in gel form and keeps my skin oil free for long.It also works great to keep pimples away.I rarely think of changing my face wash because my skin is extremely oily and acne prone.2.Hydrating gel: My favorite moisturizer,rather skin hydrator during summer is Avon solutions complete balance oil-free gel cream. It leaves my skin hydrated and supple without leaving it oily.A must have for all oily skin beauties.
3.Toner: Toner is important during every seasons but specially during summer.It helps to maintain ph balance of skin and minimizes open pores.If you have oily skin find a toner with salicylic acid in it.If you have dry skin,you may try using rose water or any good toner with honey in it.
4.Clay masks: This helps a lot to keep skin oil free,clean and clear during summer.Experiment with different clay masks and discover what works best for you.
5.Charcoal face pack: Oily and greasy skin during summer attracts dirt and makes us look dark and dull. Try using charcoal pack once a week to pull out deep seated dirt from skin,You will definitely see marvelous changes.
6.Scrub: A good and mild scrub should be used at least two to three times a week to remove deep seated dirt and dead skin cells and let your skin breath.
7.A compact with SPF: sometimes during summer when its too hot outside we don't feel like slathering heavy sunscreen again and again on our skin.So a good idea would be to keep a compact with SPF in your purse and use it whenever needed.
8.Matte sunscreen: Never skip sunscreen during summer.If you find your sunscreen too heavy then go for any matte sunscreen.I like Garnier fair miracle which claims to have UV filters to protect skin from darkening.But it does not states its SPF number. Thatswhy I combine it with a compact that contains SPF.
9.A light body lotion with SPF in it: My personal favorite is lotus Herbals Aloe soft Body Lotion that contains SPF 20.10.Smudge-proof liner: The best staying and and sudge-proof liner I have used so far is Maybelline gel liner. Less or no makeup is best during summer.Just a suncreen,compact,lip balm and a smudge-proof liner.Enjoy this beautiful summer!
