My Shopping Experience with Jabong.com

For a busy corporate slave and a hassled-for-time mommy online shopping is a blessing! I rarely have the time to go mall-hopping and when I do it's usually with a pre-defined list of things which I buy at a whirlwind pace and rush out to the drudgery of regular life embrace the exciting duties of mommy-and-manager-hood! :p

But seriously we as consumers and avid spendthrifts shoppers are spoilt for choice with a plethora of wonderful e-commerce sites peddling everything from zingy lingerie to vertiginous heels, and one of my favourites is Jabong.com which stocks virtually everything to suit the fancy (and pockets!) of all the shopaholic boys, girls, men, women, uncles, aunties and kids thereof! I'm here to share my recent Jabong.com shopping experience with you all today :)

Jabong is one of the leading Fashion Websites and I've always found shopping from them convenient, hassle-free and pocket-friendly. In the past when I used to roam the hallowed portals of online shopping like a curious but scared and suspicious cat, Jabong was the first one I broke my bread with, so to speak. They offer easy and secure payment options through Debit/Credit Card, Netbanking and Cash-on-Delivery, their Return/Exchange/Cancellation policies are clearly mentioned alongwith each item individually that is up for sale, and they usually ship orders within 2-5 working days. Oh and they also have amazing sales and offer Online Discount Coupons on a regular basis... What's not to love?!!!! :)

So I had some Jabong credit points in my account and the shopping bug hit me like it does every other day I was itching to buy something red to beat the summer woes. I'd initially zeroed in on a Loreal lipstick but lo and behold - just as I was about to submit my order up pops this lovely red Miaminx Maxi Dress on the bottom sidebar as a buying suggestion based on my browsing history (nice and useful but oh-so-wicked feature!), and given my weakness for polka dots AND maxi dresses, I had to have it! Quickly modified my cart and placed the order. I received an sms and an email confirming the order, and it was dispatched on the same day - 10th June.

Now, the information on the website plus the sms/email said I'd receive the order within 5-6 days. But as a regular shopper with Jabong, I know that they are nothing if not prompt. I've always received all my previous parcels within 48 hours of placing the order, and this time was no different! My parcel was delivered on 12th June, packed and sealed immaculately - another thing I like about Jabong.com is that their packaging is not bulky, it's always fluid yet carefully done and break/tamper-resistant. The dress is quite pretty, light and comfortable to wear and I'm one happy customer!!!!! :D
