My Preferred Dorset Wedding Vendors

By Linusm

I am often asked by clients if I can suggest any other wedding suppliers that may assist in planning their own wedding day. Its a natural thing to ask as having confidence in your suppliers is essential in order to fully enjoy, kick back and enjoy your day.

The last thing any Bride & Groom want to worry about is whether someone or something is going to turn up on time or indeed be delivered in the manner and to the standard expected.

Photographers are a rich source of information

Asking your photographer for advice is a natural thing to do, after all the photographer is the one wedding supplier that will be with you ( on the whole) from beginning to the end of the day. They get to see countless flowers being delivered to the bridal home, make up artists arrive and work their magic, hair stylists come and go, cars arrive on time along with experiencing the ceremony, through to the DJ set at the evening reception.

Your photographer should be a great source of information with which to start planning your wedding day. So if your photographer hasn’t offered this information up freely, just ask. A wedding supplier that can be endorsed by an established photographer is a golden opportunity to have one less worry come the big day.

Endorsements shouldn’t be viewed as the only choice to make, nor as ‘just’ the safe bet option, as the joy of planning a wedding is making it your own. If you love researching and finding your own wedding vendors, thats great. Weddings would soon get tedious for me if everyone was using the same people! Personal touches are great and details do go a long way, but the suppliers that will be your real cornerstones, need to be booked early and with confidence.

Thats why a friendly photographer can be key to this, as they are often the first supplier booked after a couple have fixed the date and the wedding venue.
Working widely across the Dorset area for the last few years I have come to meet many suppliers, seen their work and often eaten their cake! My preferred Dorset wedding vendors are companies that I have worked with on many occasions, all having proven track records within the wedding industry.
