I'm finally back after a pretty long time! I was finding it hard to get the motivation for my blog, and instead of forcing myself to just pop up any old crap, I stepped away, had a good old think and decided what really needed to happen, was a rebrand.
Our Baby Blog was my pride and joy for over 5 years! My heart and soul went into it, and along with that came amazing opportunities and chances that I would have never imagined I would ever get, working with some really incredible brands, I feel so lucky it brought me so many things and for that I am so so grateful!
But the time had come for change, first and foremost, it wasn't a baby blog anymore, because somehow my little girl is now 4 and a half, so I just didn't think the name suited my life as it currently stood or where I wanted it to go. My life changed pretty quickly in just a few small months and obviously over the years, my interests have changed and what I want to write about has too.
So welcome to The Lifestyle Lens, it's pretty obvious what the main topic is there, I feel like i'm no longer restricted to just 'baby' and 'mummy' posts, I feel like I want to keep a lot of that more private now, I want to branch out and explore the rest of the blogging world and write about things that are relevant to me now, rather than a few years ago. With that being said, I will be posting about anything I feel like, whether it's my life, travelling, design, food etc, I just feel like my passion has come back and I'm excited to get back into the swing of things again.
You will have noticed i've taken down a lot of posts from here, some didn't fit the new style and others I just want to keep private, this is a whole new chapter for me in so many ways so keeping things fresh and rejuvenated is fitting I think.
