My Makeup Drawers #1

Makeup Drawers 1

I don’t know about you, but I like to keep all the bits of makeup I’m loving and reaching for everyday nearer to me than the rest of my collection. I’m currently using these Muji drawers and I find them perfect to squeeze in everything I might possibly need on a day to day basis. They used to be kept on my desk but recently I’ve found it’s much more practical to move them to my little dresser as I need the desk space for the mass amounts of scribbly notes of uni work I’m trying to revise from! I update these every other week or so and I thought I could make it a little ‘thing’ where I just show you what’s inside when they are updated. I keep things like concealer, mascara and eyebrow products separate (in that little white mug stood on top) so I may do a different post on that one day, but to be honest it’s not all that interesting :)

So here goes, this is what I’m currently loving…

Makeup Drawers 1

First up bases, four may seem a little excessive but what can I say… they are my weakness! I love the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser when I’m having a good skin day or just not doing much, and the YSL Touche Eclat Foundation snook it’s way into here recently when my skin got better and I realised how good it was. The Dr Jart BB Cream is a product I think I will never be without due to it’s good coverage, amazing hydration and all round goodness to my skin! The L’Oreal True Match is there as I really need to use this more :) A few powders I have there are the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light, The Body Shop Honey Bronze, and the Clarins Graphic Expression palette. Oh and primers, Maybelline BabySkin for when I’m wearing foundation and good old L’Oreal Lumi Magique because I just can’t get enough of that glow!

Twit twoooo I just love this drawer. I recently got myself the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette so obviously I need to use that every single day of my life, but the Naked 3 is secretly hidden underneath it just so it’s not too far away. I have two of the Maybelline Colour Tattoo’s in here as I love using these, either on their own or underneath something else they are gorgeous! I finally got round to repurchasing my favourite eyeliner too, the Maybelline 24 Hour Gel Liner, I personally find it so much easier than liquid liner and this one is budget friendly and lasts all day. The three blush products are the Maybelline Dream Touch Blush in the shade 07, the ELF HD blush in Headliner as I really need to practice using this, and Sleek Rose Gold which I haven’t used since last year and is actually smashed into tiny pieces. Lastly is the Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter by the Balm, a product which I really did not think would be as beautiful as it is! Does that make sense? I have no idea it’s a Friday night as I write this post and I’m exhausted, but I’m cool with that.

I’d love to hear your everyday staples at the minute, so leave me a comment below telling me what they are & link me to some reviews!
