The Estates Wine Room in Seattle Closes
by L.M. Archer
The Estates Wine Room. ©LMArcherSeattle, Wash. – The Estates Wine Room, the first urban tasting room in Seattle’s Pioneer Square, closed over the weekend. Crimson Wine Group opted not to renew the expiring lease, and instead to focus on the company’s other tasting rooms throughout Washington and Oregon.
Crimson Wine Group represents benchmark brands located in premier wine regions that emphasize seamless, elevated winery and vineyard tasting experiences. The Estates Wine Room concentrated three Pacific Northwest brands into one location: Archery Summit in Dundee Hills, Double Canyon in West Richland, and Seven Hills Winery in Walla Walla.
Moving forward, these individual wineries will offer their own wine experiences, including vineyard tours, personalized tastings, and a variety of learning experiences. Enhanced tastings pivot around food and wine pairings, vertical and horizontal flights, bespoke tour and tasting combinations, and private wine club events. More importantly, wine club members and guests now have a greater opportunity to connect with winemakers first-hand at the wineries. READ MORE HERE.
