I'm positive that this wasn't originally meant for my hair, but it's a miracle worker, my little jar of hair magic (running about $12 a jar at Target and elsewhere.) It contains keratin so it's naturally straightening and focuses on defrizzing and deknotting hair.
My hair has been dry as ever with the changing season and quite frankly yesterday, it looked like a lion's mane which meant it was a top knot kind of day. Of course, then, taking it down was to put it lightly, hell. The hair band knotted in my hair and brushing the knots out made for a fun half an hour...yes it took half an hour. I desperately needed something to tame what was going on on top of my head. So on a spontaneous trip to target I figured that I might as well go down the beauty isles. In the "new product spotlight" section...there this was, a beacon of hope for my dry and frizzy hair. The hair masque is meant to stay on for 5 minutes (or 30 depending on the state your hair is in.) I massaged it into my scalp and left it in for about ten minutes. After I washed it out, it didn't feel much different. But after brushing it and drying it...it was smooth, shiny, and frizzless. I didn't even have to straighten my hair. Hours later, it was still shiny and straight.Whether your hair is dyed and out of control destroyed, fried, or just plain frizzy; this is the stuff to try! The Shea Moisture Hair Masque is definitely one of my favorite beauty buys now! xo
