I know what you're thinking... a "Mom" is not a thing. But... I just can't help it. I have been lucky enough to have had two Moms. The first Mom of course in my dear mother who had given me life and raised me as best she could. Although, like all mother-daughter relationships, we had our share of disagreements and resentments, we got along pretty well.

After she died, my world was never the same. For such a long time, my world revolved around her and when she was no longer there, I did not know what to do.My second Mom was my stepmother. And quite contrary to the belief that stepmothers are never as loving as real mothers, my stepmom treated me like her own daughter. We also got along extremely well.
But... life had other plans and I lost her too. She passed away last January 11th. My Dad and I are still reeling from the loss.

One thing is for sure though... There will never be anyone in a person's life like a Mom. Which is why I chose "Mom" as my favorite for today's post.
