I have always been a t-shirt and jeans kind of person since I was in grade school. My first priority, when it comes to the clothes I wear, is comfort and jeans are very comfortable -- at least the type of jeans I like wearing. 
A pair of jeans
I prefer the high waist ones that are comfortable in the hips, thighs and legs. I know such things are probably only found in museums these days but I still prefer them. And I still have two pairs of them in my closet -- half my age but still wearable and really comfortable.
Jeans are among my favorite things.
