We have an old grape vine growing in a small area near the back of our house. My Dad planted it many years ago and it has thrived. Every winter, it sleeps and every March we prune and trim it to make sure it will remain healthy.

This month, it is fully awake and its gorgeous green leaves are growing and little bunches are forming. In a few weeks, we will be able to enjoy sweet house grapes.
When my stepmother was still alive, she would make homemade vinegar from some of the grapes. The vinegar will then be used to make homemade pickles.

Dad and I are more into eating the actual grapes... I even try to cook with them and they are delicious. Definitely, grapes are among my favorite things :)
