Marcus did such an amazing job celebrating me for my birthday. He made me very thankful to have such a sweet and thoughtful partner. On the 29th, my actual birthday, we decided to have a few friends over to hang out in the backyard (my new happy place!).
We had such a good time! It was the first time we hosted since all the renovations (sharing soon!) started so it was fun to show them the progress and the new backyard. Keeping it simple because it was my birthday and lots of effort shouldn’t happen one’s birthday; we had pulled pork, grilled chicken, grilled corn on the cob, a watermelon, grapefruit and feta salad, a mesclun, red apple and fresh mozzarella salad and of course, a delicious oh so chocolate chocolate cake!
Positive, happy vibes were shared. It was an excellent way to kick off my next year, thankful, happy and loved. :) Here are some pics from the backyard birthday party!
