I love Eminem on so many levels. He's a cultural icon who helped hip hop expand to the mainstream, opening up the genre to new audiences. Controversial. Clever, so clever. He might have released a couple of average albums but they still had moments of brilliance.
Last years Marshall Mathers II was a return to form for the Detroit rapper and Headlights, a personal track documenting his turbulent relationship with his mothers is one of his finest to date. With Nate Ruess lending a hand on the hook it only seemed natural for this to be a single and this Spike Lee directed video compliments it perfectly.
Enjoy.
