We are in the final stages of September which means October is nearly here and the first two weekends of the month belong to Austin City Limits, ok, I'm not going until weekend two but excitement is bubbling for me. I'm looking forward to leaving autumnal northern England for sunny Texas and the line-up at Austin City Limits Festival is so strong that the 15 hour flight over the Atlantic is more than worth it.
Making it across the pond are Dublin rock pop group Kodaline who play the Miller Lite stage on Saturday afternoon. The quartet do tunes full of heart and soul made for festival stages with sing-a-long choruses and emotive verses that bleed with honesty. The band have recently been writing songs with Harry Styles for One Direction's forthcoming album, a career move that, if pulled off correctly could see the band launched into household name status. Ireland has a wealth of stadium rock bands and Kodaline have the potential to be following suit. Also, if the video for All I Want doesn't bring a tear to your eye you are just heartless.
