Taliban commander Mullah Nazir was killed along with his four companions in a US drone attack in South Waziristan on Wednesday night.
In November he was critically injured in a suicide attack when a suicide bomber blew himself up near his convey in South Waziristan’s largest town Wana.
The local Taliban and intelligence sources have confirmed the killing of Mullah Nazir, who also served as the head of Aman Committee.
Mullah Nazir was considered as a ‘good Taliban’ by the Pakistani military and intelligence establishment because his group does not have an agenda against Pakistani government or state.
