Muji/Selfridges Haul

Muji/Selfridges Haul
This little haul combines so many things I love: (1) Japanese and (2) Swedish stationery, (3) Selfridges and (4) mini things. It's mostly an ode to Muji. But who doesn't love Muji?

I only brought home a small selection, but Muji has an amazing range of stationery, as well as small home storage, toiletries, clothing and even large furnishings. There really is nothing quite like it. I got this cute little notebook and two erasable(!) pens. By that I mean you can RUB OUT WHAT YOU'VE WRITTEN, as if you wrote in pencil, with an eraser that's built into the lid. And it actually works. Not like those biros you had at school with a rubber and that erased nothing... These were £2 and the notebook was £2.50.Another awesome thing I picked up - those round things in the little packets at the bottom are actually face masks (£1.50 for a pack of 5)! They are so tiny. And cute. I didn't even know what they were when I saw them. Mints maybe... So obviously I bought them. The toiletries section in Muji has the most random items and often lots of cute miniatures. One tip: when you're travelling, Muji is a great place to pick up those little bottles to decant your products into. They have every type of container you could think of.Muji also does very cool small storage solutions like this acrylic pen pot and these drawers, which are really great for keeping your make up and brushes tidy.On a non-Muji side-note, I got this little clear folder (£12.50) from Ordning & Reda (ground floor in Selfridges), which is another excellent stationery store and well worth a look. The folder is very cute and it's ideal for carrying around important documents. My mom uses hers when she goes on holiday to keep her passport and travel documents safe....So there you have it, my very restrained Selfridges haul! The fact that I got to spend a few more hours perusing the epic beauty and food halls of Selfridges was just a bonus.xx
