MQM to Welcome Postponement of Elections: Raza Haroon

Raza HaroonMuttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leader Raza Haroon has said that his party will welcome the postponement of general elections if it is necessary.

Speaking to media in Multan on Sunday, he said that election campaign is running only in Punjab, the other three provinces are far away from elections and in this situation; there won’t be election but selection.

His remarks came in the wake of a wave of blasts, particularly in Karachi during last week. Haroon said that if election commission decides to postpone election to save the human lives, it will be hailed.

The MQM leader said that shouldn’t attack anyone personally during the election campaign.

He further said that those parties that aren’t targeted by terrorists yet, none of them have condemned the attacks.
