Motueka. It's My Town, Too.

By Jacabag @jacabag
I had to take Jon to Motueka.
I spent about six weeks here ten years ago learning to sky dive (or, at least trying to), and it holds a special place in my heart. It makes me feel happy and anxious at the same time, but I wasn't jumping out of any planes this time.
I'd really wanted to take Jon to the Gecko Theatre. As I remembered it, it was a small place with a living room feel playing random films, with a very cool French man running it. It's moved now, and gotten bigger. Annoyingly, the only night we had in town was all sold out, so I don't know if it still has the living room feel. There was no sign of the French guy either. Has anyone else passed through Motueka recently, and visited the Gecko Theatre?
We did, however, get to visit Hot Mammas and the Clock Tower. But we missed out on Toad Hall and their amazing frozen yoghurt. Does anyone know if they still exist?
